Pet Assistance

Approx. every 3 months

The Street Dog Coalition provides free veterinary care to pets of people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness via pop-up clinics. Free services include: physical exams, core vaccinations including rabies and parvo, fleat/tick prevention and pet food/supplies (when available). Services offered while supplies last and time allows. Limited to 2 pets per person/family. Dogs should be on leashes and cats in carriers.

HomewardBound has a case manager available for resource navigation, housing resources and other services for guests. This service will be taking place at the HomewardBound Navigation Center at 2853 North Avenue. Please call 970-256-9424 for more information.

Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm
Service include basic first aid, health education, disease education/management, clarification of an established medical diagnosis, referral assistance for additional medical care, vital readings and limited over-the-counter medications.
